AMOR
Few weeks ago I had the opportunity to work with model/student Steff Jimenez and fiancé Moises Torres for their Save the Date pics. Such a funny, awesome, smart, and all around great couple, who are more than thrilled to take the next step in their relationship, and they chose me to have a little part of it. Congrats to Steff and Moises, may your love be always as vibrant, colorful and warm hearted as the both of you are. Salud! (P.S. pics taken with Contax 645, Fuji 400H Film, processed by The Find Lab).
Adventures in Film Photography....once again
Fuji 400H Film
In preparation for my "first" wedding shoot next month, I decided to rent my dream film camera Contax 645, from the awesome Contax Rental company. Although I've never used one before, all I have heard from film wedding photographers is that it is the go-camera for weddings....if using film of course. Although I do not intend to solely use film, I wanted film to be a big part of the process. For this shoot, I used the beautiful and talented model Steff Jimenez. The day was perfect, slightly overcast and mild in weather. I expect that the weather in Carmel, CA (where the wedding will take place) will be somewhat similar. Crossing fingers that at least during the ceremony, the only tears coming down will be from the couple getting married and the guests, and not from the sky. I really appreciate the input and tips from the lab where I processed my rolls (The Find Lab), they continue to impress me with their professionalism and insight. I look forward to Ross's and Peter's wedding in 3 weeks - it has been a long time coming, and my husband and I are beyond thrilled to be a part of it. #lovedefinitelywins

A Baby Celebration
Event number three with Fatima - again, a pleasure to work with her and for her! Here is a small view of the wonderful things that were made for her baby shower for baby number 2 (Vida). Looking forward to meeting the little one any day now!

Vida Mia
This family is so beautiful, you'll be pressed to find a bad angle. The setting was beautiful. We pulled up on the side of the road and climbed down to a creek in the East Bay. The place spoke to the model (Fatima), she is a very down to earth person who also has a passion for photography, so it was very easy to work with her. Her little girl was absolutely perfect, she smiled on cue! I am very happy that this couple is bringing another beautiful soul to this world - we need more people like them. Cheers and congratulations to the Gutierrez family on their new addition to the family coming soon. La "Vida" es en verdad, bella.

Viva La Novia!
Snippets from a bridal shower I had the honor to work recently. Never have I felt so much love for one person. This bride-to-be is very much loved (deservingly so) by all her friends and family. It was such a fun event and I am beyond grateful that I was a part of it. Congratulations Aurora!!
