A Baby Celebration

Event number three with Fatima - again, a pleasure to work with her and for her!  Here is a small view of the wonderful things that were made for her baby shower for baby number 2 (Vida).  Looking forward to meeting the little one any day now!

Vida Mia

This family is so beautiful, you'll be pressed to find a bad angle.  The setting was beautiful.  We pulled up on the side of the road and climbed down to a creek in the East Bay.  The place spoke to the model (Fatima), she is a very down to earth person who also has a passion for photography, so it was very easy to work with her.  Her little girl was absolutely perfect, she smiled on cue!  I am very happy that this couple is bringing another beautiful soul to this world - we need more people like them.  Cheers and congratulations to the Gutierrez family on their new addition to the family coming soon.  La "Vida" es en verdad, bella.

Viva La Novia!

Snippets from a bridal shower I had the honor to work recently.  Never have I felt so much love for one person.  This bride-to-be is very much loved (deservingly so) by all her friends and family.  It was such a fun event and I am beyond grateful that I was a part of it.  Congratulations Aurora!!

GROWING UP

Wow...how fast does time fly.....I remember his birth like it was yesterday.  He (the boy) changed my life.  I was young, stupid, immature, broke, inexperienced, the list goes on and on....but I wouldn't trade the life I've had so far with him for anything in the world.  He has grown to be a fine young man (and a true gentleman)!

Viva La France!

Sorry, it has been awhile since I've blogged.  I've been busy with work, the holidays and travel!  I had the great opportunity to go to Paris, France for the first time with my best friend.  Yes, almost cried when we arrived.  I planned on taking some pictures with my vintage film camera, but it was so cold that it didn't seem logistically possible to take them, so I relied heavily on my digital Canon 6d.

I loved everything about it.  The people, the food, the architecture, even the rain!!  You know that assumption that French people are rude?  Wrong, so very wrong.  Every single person that we met was extremely graceful, polite and helpful.  What the French care  is that you at least try, to say the basics, like please and thank you...believe those two little words go a long way.  Thank you France for being so beautiful, can't wait to visit you again!!  Merci beaucoup!
